Become a Fort Myers Track Club member from July 2019-June 2020. This is a great way to be a part of the Fort Myers Track Club and be active your community.  You don’t have to be an elite runner to experience the camaraderie of hundreds of other recreational runners.

Proceeds benefit the Fort Myers Metro-McGregor Kiwanis BUG (Bring Up the Grades) program, designed to provide recognition to students who raise their grades to an acceptable range and maintain or continue to raise them from one grading period to the next, and other community service projects .

Proceeds from the 5K support the Take Stock in Children Scholarship Program. With the support of donors like you, over 600 Lee County Children have earned a life-changing scholarship. Take Stock in Children Lee County is a mentoring and incentive program that provides doorways to success for deserving low-income students of Lee County.

Hundreds of young participants turn out to show their determination and pride. The Junior Fun Run is open to children in grades five and below. Grades 4 & 5 run a mile, 3rd graders run 1200 Meters, first and second graders run 800 Meters, kindergarten students run 400 Meters, and students under 5 years old run 100 Meters. The Fort Myers Track Club helps to make this a fantastic active event for the children and many children run year after year! If you prefer not to register online, please DO NOT MAIL the printable application. Print, complete the application & bring race day to expedite your child's registration. Registration starts at 10:30 a.m.

Run along the streets of downtown Fort Myers that is lined with 200,000 (est.) cheering spectators. Proceeds go to the Edison Festival of Light, a non-profit 501(c) 3 tax-exempt organization that works with many other local non-profit and profit organizations to promote the arts, culture and history of Fort Myers and Southwest Florida. Through scheduled and sanctioned events, the Festival helps to promote and support local groups.

Proceeds from this race benefit Hope Parkinson Program & Kimmie’s Recovery Zone. The 13.1 mile course is out and back that starts and ends at the Lazy Flamingo on McGregor Blvd. Participants run by the beautiful neighborhoods along shady, McGregor Blvd. before returning to the Lazy Flamingo and the post-race party. VOLUNTEER Organizers are looking for volunteers to serve as course marshals, at water stops, with race set-up & at packet pick-up.

Funds raised will benefit the nonprofit 21st Century C.A.R.E. and will be used for colorectal cancer education, screening, and treatment in Southwest Florida.
